Elaine Hutchinson

A Chartered Physiotherapist with over 30 years of experience having worked in a variety of NHS Hospitals and Health Centres across Glasgow. Elaine graduated from Queen's College, Glasgow in July 1984 with a Diploma in Physiotherapy and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), the Health and Care Professions Council, the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) and also registered with PhysioFirst, the organisation for Chartered Physiotherapists in private practice. During July & August 2014,Elaine was chosen to be a Clydesider Physiotherapist at the Commonwealth Games and was based at the Athletes village where she treated many different injuries for Athletes from all over the world.

Prabhjot Baryah (Joti)

Joti is a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 10 years experience in musculoskeletal and neuromuscular physiotherapy. She qualified in 2005 in India with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and then attained an MSC in Sports Physiotherapy in 2007. Joti also qualified as an Acupuncturist in 2011 and has received training in Mulligan Manual Therapy. Joti has worked in Private practice for 6 years.




Gemma graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. She splits her time between working here in the clinic and in the NHS in MSK outpatients during the week. For the last 2 years Gemma has been working at the clinic as a Sports Therapist after completing an HND Sports Therapy at City of Glasgow College which led her to a career in Physiotherapy. She has experience treating a range of complex musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries as well post-operative rehabilitation and completed a student placements within a variety of clinical specialties. Gemma is available for both for physiotherapy and also continues to offer sports massage.


Aimee is a qualified Sports Therapist with Level 3 Diploma. She is currently a second year Physiotherapy student at Glasgow Caledonian University. Aimee has experience of working with people with various musculoskeletal conditions and working at sporting events in Scotland such as marathons and charity runs to provide pre and post event massages. She also worked for a local football club helping with massage and first aid. Aimee offers sports massage at the clinic.




Veronica runs VMK Complementary Therapies from room 3 in the clinic. She has a BA (Hons) degree in Complementary Healthcare from Edinburgh Napier University. She is qualified in Remedial & Sports massage, Reflexology, Clinical Aromatherapy, Swedish Body massage, Stones Therapy and Seated Acupressure massage. The aim of VMK Complementary Therapies is to provide specialised treatments tailored to individuals needs to help improve their well being physically or mentally.
