We’re delighted to be open Mondays to Fridays, to offer Face to Face appointments to those patients that is right for them. Government guidance and Professional guidelines will continue to be maintained to ensure we keep our clients and staff safe however if you would prefer an online consultation, then we are able to offer that, to patients to.

All clients will be asked to complete a short triage phone call with one of our Physio’s when booking so we can determine whether a video or face-to-face appointment is most appropriate. We will also ask some questions about your general health and recent travel.

We will also send an information sheet to you by email, outlining what to expect when you visit the Clinic for a face-to-face appointment. If you have further questions, please don’t hesitate to call us for a chat on 0141 762 2240.

What extra measures will be in place if I have a face-to-face appointment?

All face-to-face appointments will involve COVID screening prior to attendance. Our Physiotherapists will be in full PPE throughout your appointment and will practice social distancing where possible. Spaces between appointments will be longer to ensure less people are in the building and allow for additional cleaning.

How does a video appointment work?

Video consultations are a great, safe way to begin or continue treatment with one of our Physiotherapists. We’ll send you details ahead of your appointment with instructions on how to access our video platform, Zoom.

When your appointment begins, your Physio will ask a number of questions about your condition or injury. They may ask you to complete a number of movements to help them diagnose you further. They will then provide advice, support and exercises specifically designed to help you.

Following the appointment, we will send an electronic version of your exercise programme, which will include pictures and often video.

What is the benefit of a video appointment?

Online appointments do not require you to come into contact with anyone outside of your home. It also reduces cost, childcare requirements, travel time and we can fit the appointment around your own schedule. You’ll still receive the same excellent service you would expect from a face-to-face appointment at BBPSIC.
